Above the Green and Gleaming River

A lot of folk take photos of Horseshoe Bend. My angle wasn’t quite wide enough to take the same ol’ boring shot (though I tried, trust me). And so I opted for something else. This, I guess.

  1. Really like the view on this, gives a sense of scale. I took the obligatory tourist shot, but in my defence it was 1992 and I was using my Olympus OM2 with Kodachrome 64.

    1. That’s absolutely reason enough for me!

And I tried to take the tourist shot, but it was rough. I always come down with a weird case of ‘high place phenomenon’. It’s exciting, but disconcerting.
