Recalling Sunlight in the Vale

We are collectors. Some, when they travel, pick up souvenir t-shirts. We collect items that bring back to us memories of our travels. In the end, they serve the same purpose – this is just how we accomplish it.

The railroad spike was from an original Union Pacific alignment, the collection of barbed wire was crafted by the Barbed Wire Museum in Texas, I blew out the Vespa cylinder head on a trip through southern Pennsylvania. The blurry wasp was bought in Flagstaff, the crucifix in Iowa, and the “No Camping” sign somewhere in California.
