The Threads Unused

We’ve visited the Devil’s Rope Museum in McLean, Texas a few times. You’d think that a museum dedicated to barbed wire wouldn’t be all that interesting – even for those interested in the more mundane features of history – but I’ll have to disagree.

Barbed wire had a single use (aside from art – it’s highest use) – to keep animals or people either in or out. And yet, there were hundreds of different designs and patents for it.
