I can’t begin to explain to you just how amazing the Jolly Green Giant Museum in Blue Earth, Minnesota was. It’s not some huge, fancy museum (yet?), and really only occupies a few garage bays behind the Chamber of Commerce in the town. Still, it’s worth it (and free).
And it’s right off the interstate for those who fancy a quick jaunt as opposed to a slow ramble.
The museum is mostly made up of Green Giant advertising from the 1940s to the present, though it’s got a few machines and lockers from the factory in town. Though it’s small, it’s one of my favorite museums.
Sure, it’s one of those “only in America” things, but I sort of live for that stuff.
