From the Lincoln Star, March 29, 1922:
Lyman is not a very pretentious village from the standpoint of size, but it has recently dedicated a new community building there, with the community club in charge, the building being 50×70 in size, with a floor suitable for dancing.
It has been equipped to for showing moving pictures and the building will be ample for almost any kind of community function the village wishes to hold.
For the present the Christian church will use the building for its services, until the congregation gets its new house of worship completed.
